International Experience Canada pools open on March 1, 2021!

International Experience Canada (IEC) pools for most countries open this upcoming Monday, March 1, 2021.

The number of spots ranges from 25 to 10,500 depending on the country.

IEC is comprised of three streams – International Co-Op (Internship), Young Professionals, and Working Holiday.

The first two streams require a job offer from a Canadian employer, while Working Holiday does not require one.

International Experience Canada is a Canadian mobility program for young people from 18 to 35 years old.

Participants in the program receive an open work permit (no LMIA!!) valid for up to two years. With an open work permit, you can work for any employer in Canada!

Right now, Canadian travel restrictions only allow IEC applicants with a Job Offer and a Port of Entry Introduction Letter to enter Canada. However, this might change any time.
