The Corporate Stream helps established international corporations to expand their business to Ontario. A maximum of five key staff required to establish and maintain the business in Ontario can become eligible for nomination for permanent residence status. Learn about Corporate Stream.
The Employer Job Offer category streams all require a job offer from an employer. Under the Foreign Worker Stream, permanent residence can be granted to skilled foreign workers with a job offer. Check to see is you are Foreign Worker Stream.
The International Student Stream is open to international students who have met all the requirements to obtain a degree, diploma or certificate from a Canadian institution. You should have completed at least half of your studies while lawfully residing and studying in Canada. Learn more about International Student Stream.
Under the In-Demand Skills Stream, an opportunity to permanently live and work in Ontario is given to in-demand foreign workers with a job in specific occupations in the agricultural and construction sectors. To apply, you have to meet all eligibility criteria for In-Demand Skills Stream and receive a permanent and full-time job offer.
A very similar stream called PhD Graduate Stream applies to PhD graduates from Ontario’s post-secondary institutions. The same two-year limit applies to applicants.
